Hello to my incredible community,

Can you believe we’re nearing the end of 2023? This year has been filled with countless moments of growth and learning…we made it!

One of the most significant highlights was celebrating our 5th anniversary of JSHealth Vitamins, a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support.

As I reflect on the past year, I’m reminded of how important it is to slow down, take inventory of our experiences and express gratitude for our journey. Life has a way of rushing past us if we let it, but when we mindfully choose to pause, reflect and give thanks, we can truly appreciate the beauty of our experiences and the strength we’ve gained along the way.

2023 taught me invaluable lessons about embracing life’s imperfections, holding onto my passion, setting boundaries and living in the present moment. It has shown me the power of kindness, the importance of prioritising peace and the transformative effect of self-work and determination.

This has been a year of deep growth and transformation for many of us. Whether it’s been challenging or exhilarating (or a mix of both), I hope you’ve found moments of joy, peace and personal progress amidst it all. And now, it’s time to shift our focus towards some well-deserved rest and rejuvenation.

I want to share some practices that have helped me to maintain balance and harmony in 2023. As we look forward to welcoming a new year, consider these self-care practices to embrace in your own life:

Slow Mornings: Allow yourself the luxury of slow, grounding mornings. Savour the taste of your coffee, meditate, journal or simply sit in silence. These quiet moments can set the tone for the rest of your day.

Saying No to Plans: Remember, it’s okay to prioritise your needs. If you need rest, it’s perfectly fine to decline invitations. Your wellbeing always comes first.

Nature Walks: There’s nothing quite like the healing power of nature. A gentle walk outside can do wonders for your mental and emotional health.

Reading in Bed: Lose yourself in the pages of a good book. It’s a beautiful way to ignite your imagination, and a wonderful act of self-care.

Phone Calls with Friends: Taking the time to connect with loved ones can be incredibly rewarding. A simple phone call can bridge distances and warm hearts.

Therapy Sessions: Mental health is vital. Regular therapy sessions can provide a safe space for you to express your feelings, navigate challenges and cultivate your inner strength.

Movie Nights Under Blankets: Create cosy movie night moments at home (maybe even under the stars, as the weather warms up at night!). Pop on your favourite fuzzy slippers, snuggle under a blanket and let yourself unwind.

Honouring Your Boundaries: Your peace and wellbeing matter. Honour your boundaries and remember that it’s okay to put your needs first.

Home-Cooked Meals: Nourish your body with wholesome, home-cooked meals. The act of preparing a meal can be therapeutic, and the result is always rewarding.

Endless Cups of Tea: Brew your favourite tea and take a moment to enjoy the simple pleasure it brings.

Living Room Dance Parties: Sometimes, the best therapy is a good dance session. Let loose, have fun and let the music move you.

Candlelit Baths or Showers: Transform your daily routine into a tranquil ritual. A candlelit bath or shower can be a serene and restorative experience.

A Nourishing Skincare Routine: Take care of your skin, and you’re caring for your wellbeing. A gentle and effective skincare routine is a daily act of self-love.

Remember, it’s not just about surviving; it’s about thriving.

I’ll be taking my own advice and switching off from social media and emails for a while. It’s an act of self-care that I cannot recommend enough. I hope you’ll join me in this digital detox and take some time for yourself.

Thank you for being a special part of our inspiring community. Your support means the world to me, and I cannot wait to reconnect with all of you in January.

Wishing you a peaceful holiday season filled with love, laughter and beautiful memories with those closest to you.

With all my love and gratitude,

Jess xx
